First Hawaiian Bank Headquarters
Honolulu, Hawaii
This Art Glass wall, featuring 56 unique etched and carved crystal portraits of Hawaiian botanicals, graces the spectacular private Banker’s Club dining room on the top floor of the 1st Hawaiian Bank Headquarters. The display spans 40' x 13' and is held in place by heavy polished steel brackets, machined to Amri Studio’s specifications. The panels are spectacularly edge-lit with over a half mile of fiber-optic lighting cable hidden inside the wall. The geometry and luminosity of this installation highlights the stunning impact of quality materials, design and workmanship in a high end environment. In collaboration with architect Gensler & Associates, San Francisco.
