Government Seals

Amri Studio was asked to create two stunning focal points for the new Gensler-designed U.S. Courthouse in the PJKK ( Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole) Federal Building in Honolulu.  The central panel of a wall of hand-picked book-matched Cararra marble panels features our deep-hand-carved marble seal centered over the Judge's bench. A matching LED edge-lit one-inch-thick crystal seal was placed high in the elegant white lobby.  When these two pieces were viewed by the principal designers at Gensler, they told us, "THIS kind of artisanal architectural detailing is why we entered the field of architecture!"
